First Day of 8th Grade!!!

AHH!!! Today was my first day of officially being an 8th grader! School was pretty good today (we only had 15 min classes!!)! All we did today was go through our classes and socialize! I wish school was like that EVERYDAY!!! haha! Sadly tomorrow we start... learning:(. haha. I like my teachers and classes so far, but i guess i shouldn't say anything yet... things change! haha just kidding! haha Most of my friends are in my classes too! So i have nothing to complain about! haha! Also my cousin, Alex, is at my school now! He is a little 6th grader! haha. It feels so wierd being the oldest! All of the seventh and sixth graders are so small and I feel so TALL, except when I'm around kids my age, then i feel short again!! haha! 8th grade is going to be so much....... FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spending time with my Nana!

These past 2 weeks my Nana came down from Arizona! We did a lot of fun stuff together! We mostly just stayed home and watched movies, and ate her famous mexican food! Her mexican food is definately the BEST mexican food I have ever tasted, especially her salsa!!! YUMMY!!! I just wanted to tell her thank you for coming down and helping my mom recover from her surgery, and that I appriciate everything she has done for me and my mom. I had a lot of fun with her and I am glad that she took some time off of work and came down to visit! I Love you, Nana!! :) Love,

Erickson Family Reunion!

For our Erickson Family Reunion this year we went camping up to Willow Flats. It was a ton of fun!! We invited our friends, the Downs, to come with us! They practically are family! haha! Anyways we got there on Friday night, and right when we got there i went in my grandparents trailer with my cousins, Bryce, Landon, their cousin Alissa, and Kayden Downs! Let me just tell you that it was CRAZY!!! haha Me and Bryce started rapping primary songs, just call us the Mormon rappers:), and we were all just being goofy! That's how this wonderful camping trip began! haha The next day we played games, went four wheeling, and just hung out! The most popular game that we played was horse shoes! It got pretty competitive too! haha! My grandpa was the best at it, hands down!!

The food was DELICIOUS too! I ate so much food! It was crazy!! haha That night we roasted marshmellows and made banana boats! YUMMY!!! That's definately one of the best things to do when you go camping! Me and my cousin, Jared, also ate ALL of the muddy buddies that me and my friends, Kali and Timmie, made! They were amazingly delish! There was also a little creek, or crik ( that's what my grandma calls it! hehe), where we were camping! It was pretty tight! We accidently threw Kayden's football in it a couple of times, haha but it's all good we always got it back! Someone was always stupid enough to run though the water to get it, and once that stupid person was..... me!! haha the water was SOO cold!! haha There was also a little island in the creek that my cousin discovered! It was cool! haha Emily, Nicole, Keirsten, Kayden, and I went on a little hike one day too, it was fun, then it started to rain so we headed back to camp! haha! Well anyways, this Family Reunion was really fun and I was glad that i was able to spend time with my wonderful, fun, family!!! :)

Twin Falls Temple!!!

Today was awesome!! My ward went to the Twin Falls Temple to do Baptisms for the dead! It was so much fun! Before we went to the Temple we went to Shoshone Falls and ate lunch! The falls were beautiful! It was my second time going there and there was a major difference! There was a lot less water from the last time we were there. It was still very beautiful though! :) After, we headed over to the Temple. This was my first time ever doing baptisms at the Twin Falls Temple! We usually go to the Idaho Falls Temple! Ofcourse the Temple was beautiful and it was a lot of fun and an amazing expierience!! I am so grateful that i was able to go to the Twin Falls Temple and do service for the dead! I can't wait until next time we go!:)

Swimming and G.I.Joe!

Today was a pretty fun day! I went swimming with my 2 besties, Timmie and Jori! Sadly i didn't get any pictures, ofcourse, because we were swimming, haha but yeahh it was pretty tight! After swimming I went to the movies with my dad and Em! We decided to go see G.I. Joe. I just have to say it was.... AWESOME!!! It was very intense :) haha I have to admit that some of the lines were a bit cheesy but hey, most of the movies I like are a bit cheesy!!! haha ;) It was a really really really good movie though! haha and the main G.I. Joe, Duke, made the movie a whole lot better!! haha ( you'll find out when you see the movie) haha ;) Sorry that this post was a bit boring, my next post should be more fun to read! haha :)

Welcome to my new blog!

Aloha Everyone!!! Welcome to my new blog, Cam D.O.G! I got this nickname from one of my basketball coaches, then one Sunday during Sacrament meeting Emily and I came up with a Spiritual acronym to go with it, since it was Sunday haha ;), and we came up with Daughter of God! I like this name because it helps me to remember who I am! Well anywho... I guess I'll just tell you a little about myself! haha I am going into the 8th grade this year!!! School starts August 24th, in 17 days!! AHHH I am not ready!!! It's to soon!! :) This past Summer all I have really been doing is playing fastpitch softball!! It's absolutely my favorite sport! I played in 2 league teams and on a traveling team! My 2 league teams, the Rebels and the D-Backs, both took 1st place, and my tournament team, the Flash, played in 7 tournaments and averaged about 5th place! That's pretty good since we were a young team! I played a total of about 70 games this Summer!! I can't wait until next summer, I should say January since that's when my dad and my other coach, Rob McMinn, are planning our first practices!!!! During off season I also play volleyball and basketball. I am getting pretty excited for vball! Other than playing sports, I love to be with family and hang out with my friends! My religion is also a gigantic part of my life! I am so grateful to be blessed to have the Gospel in my life and I am so thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father, and for all of my many wonderful blessings! I just got back home from Girls Camp last week and I had a BLAST!! It was so much fun and a great way to get away from everything that is happening in my life and just have a fun, relaxing, spiritual week with my best friends! Well that's pretty much it! haha I hope you enjoy my blog!
